• Some VfW compressors require the movie to be a multiple of 4 pixels tall and wide. The Converter enforces these restrictions by modifying the converted movie size.
• The Direct Transfer option copies the first video track only. If the source movie has multiple video tracks, choose the Compressed or Uncompressed options instead.
• The Direct Transfer option is the fastest way to convert a movie and no quality is lost during the conversion process. The source movie must be compressed, however, with a PC-supported compression scheme, such as Microsoft VIDEO, Microsoft RLE, or CINEPAK (Compact Video).
• Do not use the Direct Transfer option with movies that have been edited with applications such as Apple’s Movie Player. In QuickTime terminology, the Direct Transfer option copies the movie’s media and ignores track edits.
